Jensen Hughes’ Industrial +Process Safety team works with industrial clients to meet their most challenging needs. We provide innovative, comprehensive and right-sized solutions to address the complexities of hazardous materials processing, transfer and storage. We work with clients constructing or operating high hazard processes, including chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, energy, semiconductor, food and beverage sectors.
Jensen Hughes has a job opportunity for a mid- level Process Safety Engineer. The successful candidate will report to one of Jensen Hughes’ mid-Atlantic offices, and remote work arrangements will be considered. This person will perform and manage engineering service offerings to industrial clients. Travel to client sites for site inspection and meetings will be required on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience in one or more of the following areas of process safety:
The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver high quality technical products (reports, design documents, modelling, analyses) with minimal supervision. The candidate may be asked to write work scopes and supervise the technical work products of other engineers. In addition, the candidate may be asked to become the project manager for small to medium consulting projects, with ultimate responsibility for quality, budget and client relationships. The role will include serving our existing clients and projects as well as supporting business development activities which will grow the IPS service line, and other service lines within Jensen Hughes.
