Jensen Hughes has a job opportunity for an Evidence Technician located in our Mountlake Terrace office.  This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work in an engineering environment.  The position joins a dynamic team of Forensic and multi-discipline engineers and technical staff.

Responsibilities

Primary job duties include:

  • Technician work supporting engineers and investigators in the field and in shop/examination environment.
  • Assist engineers in creating experiment models for testing and demonstration purposes.
  • Organization, maintenance and clean-up of buildings interior and exterior (Facility, shop, exam areas).

Qualifications

Candidate requirements:

 

  • Demonstrated history of reliability and professionalism
  • Motivated by healthy pressure and uses it to produce quality, efficient work
  • Strong customer service skills and “whatever it takes attitude.”
  • Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast changing environment.
  • Able to take direction from others to accomplish tasks assigned
  • Ability to safely and efficiently use hand and power tools.
  • Experience in welding and or machining is a plus
  • Carpentry experience a plus
  • Experience in operating heavy equipment; pulling a trailer and/or driving a forklift is a plus
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders and be on your feet on a regular basis
  • Able to work in environments where fire and water damage is present
  • Able to work in confined spaces at times
  • Candidates must have valid driver’s license and pass a criminal background check
